So, who is the seller?

A. If not Apple, then it almost seems like a scam. So, take this back to the seller. This is the site the seller should have used prior to selling it to you: Go here: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. The seller should have known better.

B. If Apple, then you need to unlock this. You need a vail proof of purchase to unlock it. Without one, you may never be able to get back in

Getting a Proof of Purchase:

1. Go Here: About the Purchase Date or Expiration Date for your AppleCare Agreement - Apple Support
2. As it Reads: "A sales receipt with the receipt number, product description, original date of purchase, price, and reseller details constitutes a valid proof of purchase."

• Proceed from there, as necessary
• Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
