Hey there officialthomash,
Based on the details you provided, it's expected behavior for a battery to last less time as the battery chemically ages over time, resulting in a lower battery health over time. For more details about this, we recommend reviewing the sections 'When batteries chemically age' and 'Battery Health' here: iPhone Battery and Performance
Moving forward with the battery lasting around 14 hours of battery life that you do get currently, this so far sounds like expected behavior, especially coupled with the fact the three apps using the most battery charge are ones that are graphics intensive/use the internet/have lots of loading content. You'll want to keep this in mind using your iPhone going forward.
Battery life may also be less than expected for a short time after updating. This occurs due to it downloading app data, syncing contacts, indexing search results, and completing the digital housekeeping for a new update. We recommend following these battery tips going forward: Batteries - Maximizing Performance While we recommend monitoring the battery life for the same issue after 72 hours from updating(in conjunction with using the above battery tips), we’d like to rule out some other possible causes:
- Is it being used within its temperature range? Check for the range near the top here: If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold
- Any app updates available? Here are the steps to check: How to manually update apps on your Apple device
- Since you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.5.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then update: Update your iPhone or iPad
- If you recently updated to iOS 16.5.1, how many days ago was it installed?
Cheers!
