So I’m in a group chat with a few of my friends, some of them have iPhone and some of them have Android. And when my friends send photos and videos to the chat, regardless if they’re on iPhone or not, specifically me, I get it in a lower quality but everyone else’s seems fine. And when I send them they’re sent in a good quality? What’s happening?

When face with something like this, the best thing is to tray and isolate what is causing this.
Are the videos always the same type. For example, are they always TikTok? Test with videos from different sources and see if you can narrow down a particular source. Then you can troubleshoot from there.

I’m not entirely sure if that’s the issue, but the way I can tell that it’s lower quality is that if I’m sent for example a saved TikTok video from their photos to the group chat, it’s in a worse quality than if I was sent the same video on a separate message. The devices are not the same model and they’re on similar but maybe not exact iOS version.
No, so some of them are just videos they took on their camera as well, and saved YouTube videos
