I am having trouble activating messages and FaceTime. My account is not new nor is my iPod 6th generation. I have done all of the troubleshooting listed with the exception of a factory reset..it tells me trouble activating..try again. I almost had messages but then was told FaceTime had trouble. Any insight?

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
