Many contacts in my iPhone are not in iCloud

I've recently changed my AppleID on my iPhone to a new one and I've just realized that many of my iPhone Contacts are not saved in the Cloud

My iPhone contact list is about 522 contacts and my iCloud contacts are only 144

I would need all my 522 contacts to be replicated in the iCloud as well.

I've already checked that in my iCloud configuration "Contacts" is ON so my guess is that when I changed the AppleID somehow it didn't synchronize.

Could anyone help me with this?

Thanks !

Ariel

If you turn on iCloud (you did), you get 5 GB of free iCloud storage, information such as contacts, calendars, bookmarks, notes, reminders, voice memos are stored in iCloud.

You must use the same Apple ID.

See -> Use iCloud on iPhone -> Use iCloud on iPhone – Apple Support (UK)

Get support from Apple directly -> Get Support or call Apple in your region see -> Contact Apple for support and service

Hi Raicya - Yes, I have turned on iCloud contacts backup on my iPhone -in fact I am subscribed to a 200Gb Plan- and all iPhone contacts should be backed up surely, but what I need is to merge all my iPhone contacts list into the iCloud contact list. Perhaps I wasn't clear on what I need :-)

I need all my 481 contacts in my iPhone list (sorry the pic is in Spanish) to be merged and added to the 144 contacts in my iCloud list.

Thanks,

Ariel

Do you use multiple Apple ID?

You must use the same Apple ID.

Your Apple ID is the personal account you use with all Apple products and services. It includes the email address and password you use to sign in, as well as the contact, payment, and security details that you use with Apple.

You can’t merge multiple Apple ID accounts.

See the following Apple articles

I have only one AppleID in my iPhone and is the one I use for all my Apple devices.

The issue I am trying to resolve is that I have 481 contacts in my iPhone that are not shared in my iCloud contacts (surely they are backed up in the iPhone Backup in the iCloud account)

When I am checking my Contacts in my Mac, I can only see the 144 ones that are in the iCloud list.

Is there a way I can merge the iPhone Contact list with the iCloud Contact list or perhaps shared the iPhone contact list in my Mac?
