Icons in dock are vertical

my Icons on Home Screen dock will not remain horizontal but stack up vertically not fitting in the dock area across bottom of my screens.

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

Apps reappear in Dock after reboot despite 'Remove from Dock" is done few times Apps keep on reappearing in dock on reboot even after doing "Remove from Dock" few times. For eg, VLC keep on reappearing on reboot (not every time though)

dock not showing up when located in left side My dock wouldn't show up when I locate it left side. It shows up normally when located in right side or bottom side with same settings. Plus my trackpad gesture for launchpad also doesn't work when the dock is located in left side. I tested it like 10 times without changing any other settings. When the dock is not on left side everything works just fine, but when it's on left side......

Oh nvm, i just from someone here that turning it off then on will fix the issue and it did! Thanks so much!
