Creating Guitar Loops in Logic Pro X Like Loopy Pro

Is there a way to create Guitar Loops in Logic Pro X for Mac or iPad similar to the way Loopy Pro https://loopypro.com/ creates loops? Loopy pro allows you to activate the recording with a sound threshold keeping it in time and waiting for you to start playing. It then ends the clip and starts to play it. In other words its a digital guitar looper. Can Logic Pro X for Mac or iPad be used as a digital guitar looper for live looping?

Step/beat sequencer in iOS, but not on MacOS. Why?!?! :( I see that the iOS version of GarageBand has a step/beat sequencer, but the MacOS version does not? I have also tried Logic Remote, but no step/beat sequencer. This surely would be a simple feature to have cross platform? Or is there a plugin to be able to input any instrument or beat with a step sequencer?

Will Garage Band for Mac Monterey record two separate tracks simultaneously from an audio interface like Focusurite 2i2? Focusrite 2i2 has two input channels, each with a preamp and controls. When connected to Garage Band for Mac, will Garage Band allow two new audio tracks to be created with each recording a single input from Focusrite 2i2 at the simultaneously? Example: Voice is into input 1, guitar is in input 2. Can those separate inputs also be separated to two tracks on GarageBands while playing through them at the same time? I know both inputs can be recorded to one track, but what about isolating what is going into the inputs onto two audio recording tracks to two recording tracks? Possible? If so, what buttons to push to get there?
