The XS does not support 5G. Did Verizon give you replacement SIM cards, or offer to activate the eSIM in your phone?
Most likely the problem is poor network coverage; if you have good Wi-Fi in your new home you can ask Verizon to enable Wi-Fi Calling, which will work even with limited LTE network coverage.
Thank you for your response, I find it very interesting. I enabled wifi calling on my phone (it doesn't help) but are you saying I need to have Verizon activate something else?
They have approved a free LTE extender and (supposedly) shipped it... twice... yet we have not received it. Also told me that i needed to update my sim cards, (iphone xs) only to learn they wont support 5g.
I really appreciate your help.
