Hi Thank you for responding. I had to call apple and they walked me through the process. FYI - I did not have Siri turned on in the phone so I was completely locked out and WiFi was not connecting to iPhone. It was difficult to get my phone to open. Anyway here are the steps to get into iPhone if voiceover locks you out -

  1. The tapping is key - tap once then quickly tap twice - there is a slight delay
  2. Try to get to passcode screen
  3. Touch your code - touch a number 1 X then quickly tap it 2 more times fast.
  4. Keep doing the tapping sequence until you get to Accessibility then Voiceover swipe it off.

Hi V14z,

When you say you're locked out, is the iPhone non-responsive? Does it respond to input at all? If not, we'd recommend you try forcing the iPhone to restart.

After that, if you're able to get into your device, you can turn off VoiceOver under Settings  > Accessibility > VoiceOver, then turn the setting off.

If that doesn't work or if you're still locked out, let us know what specifically you see on the iPhone display or what happens thats preventing you from using your device.

Cheers!
