Is it possible to disable focus Lock Screen customization and long press?

Is there a way to disable longpress of focus lock screens in order to customize or change them? Slash if not, can apple add one asap?

I know I’m not the only one with this problem, I found a redit gripe wall on it, but nothing here on the apple community. My phone is always changing to different focus settings, and it’s getting pretty annoying. I fidget with my phone in my pocket, sometimes in my hands when I talk to people. Prior to IOS16 this was never an issue, now it is.

just a simple button to disable it, and or to change it to a less likely triggered gesture.

thanks

Hi LukeAaron23,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! While there is not a way to disable touch and hold to customize the Lock Screen, you do have the option to unlink a Focus as listed below:

Create a custom iPhone Lock Screen

1. Touch and hold the Lock Screen until the Customize button appears at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap Focus near the bottom of the wallpaper to see the Focus options—for example, Do Not Disturb, Personal, Sleep, and Work.
3. Select a Focus, then tap the Close button.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
