iPhotos app not opening

My 2017 desktop Mac recently decided to prevent me from opening my photos. I'm using Ventura 13.1 and am having no problem with the app on my iPad or iPhone. The message I get is that I may have a "corrupted" file. Anyone else have a similar problem or suggestion/recommendation?

Where is your Photos Library stored? Is it in your Pictures folder or on an external disk?

Have you opened the Photos Library on a different Mac? I am puzzled, because you wrote that you are running "Ventura 13.1", but below your question I am seeing iMac 21.5″, macOS 13.3 . This is suggesting that you are having two macs with different versions of Ventura. A Mac with "Ventura 13.1" cannot open a Photos Library, that has been opened with "Ventura 13.3". If that should be the case, update all Macs to the same version of Ventura.
