Spammer texts not blocked even though blocked

It sounds like you already confirmed that the individual is blocked per Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. Now bear in mind, it is possible for someone to spoof their number - as in it looks like one number but is sent from another.

We would also recommend reporting them as junk, if possible, with the steps listing as: Block, filter, and report messages on iPhone - Apple Support This helps the systems learn what is junk to help filter it.

Spammer texts not blocked even though blocked. Was fine before last update the other day. It clearly says blcok but they keep coming through same number

Spammers use special computer programs that make it appear that each spam might be coming from a different number. when in reality they are coming from the same source. You can "block" one number, but that won't slow down the spam at all.

Sorry, but that is just the way it is. We all suffer from the same thing.
