Face ID stopped working June 27 2023

All of a sudden it stopped working. When trying to reset it keeps saying move camera lower. I heard about this glitch. How does one solve it? Super frustrating! I don’t have a cover on my phone, I tried to restart, I signed in and out. What else? My iphone 13 mini automatically updated to new OS at night. Is that a way Apple is pushing ppl to purchase a new phone?
