A couple of weeks ago the application was working just nicely. Very useful. I dont use microsoft.
The last few days Pages wont open. Returns the error message as follows:
"The application Pages cant be opened
-10668"
The machine is iMac late 2013 . 3.2 processor 16Gb memory. . .... a great machine
I would love some help to get Pages working again.

Shut down your iMac. On reboot, try Pages again. Result?
What changed on your Mac before Pages issued the "can't be opened" dialog? I believe that you need Pages v10.2 thru v11.1 to be compatible with Catalina. Check your installed version.
If the first paragraph complies, did you install and run any anti-virus or so-called "cleaning" application that may have removed some dependency within the Pages application itself, or the operating system? Removing the wrong operating system fonts can also render the Pages application unusable.
