1) The tags appended to your post suggest that your iPad has iPadOS14 installed. If you haven’t already done so, update to the most recent version of iPadOS. Depending upon your iPad model, this with be either iPadOS 16.5.1 - or for iPad Air2 or iPad mini4, iPadOS 15.7.7.
2) If the problem persists, delete the Zoom App from your iPad - and then perform a forced restart.

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
- Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
- Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
- Press and hold the top button.
- When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

After the forced restart, re-install the Zoom App from the App Store:
