Apple Mail will no longer allow me to add hyperlink

I have been using apple mail for many years and regularly add hyperlinks to emails. This morning I tried to add the following long hyperlink to an email and apple will not allow it. It does not like the link for some reason and will not make the "OK" button available. I double checked the link - three times, and it is an active link that works. And per usual my apple email is using Rich Text. Is there a limit to the link length that apple mail will allow? The link and Apple's response are below.

Appreciate any insight. I am running Ventura 13.4.1 on a 2021 M1 MBP.

Link I am trying to add: https://www.google.com/search?q=breakaway+images+photography&rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS878US878&oq=&aqs=chrome.2.69i60j69i57j69i59j69i61j69i60j69i65l2j69i60.247260j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#lrd=0x89b637eac2dbc69d:0x98111c76253c1348,1,,,,

OK, I found a solution. Since Apple Mail will not allow me to add this valid hyperlink, I wrote my email in MS Word, and embedded the hyperlinks there. I copied the text to MacMail and the hyperlinks worked. I sent the email to myself at another email address and they still work.

Net-net the way to get around this issue is to do the work outside of Apple Mail then copy and paste it into MacMail. Problem solved!

If you test by sending yourself the link as you post above— you will see it returns as hot...

This is not so unusual.

Thank you Leroy. Yes the link works. What does not work is that Apple Mail will not allow me to save it as a hyperlink. That is the issue I am having. If I can't save it as a hyperlink I can't send it as a hyperlink. Tx

As long as the address contains the prefix https://www. the link will resolve itself.

or https://

I do not see this as an issue.
