PASMO transfer complete, but does not work. Says “Your card is being activated.” It has said this for 3 days. Neither Apple wallet or my physical card work, did I just loose $80?

PASMO physical transit card transfer completed per the Apple instructions, but does not work. Says “Your card is being activated.” It has said this for 3 days. Neither Apple wallet or my physical card work now, did I just loose $80?

what is my recourse here? How do I get the card to work? Who do I call?

I was able to get it working. I’m not exactly sure why it worked, but I suspect the Pasmo transfer process needed the Pasmo app installed before the process was started. After installing the Pasmo app on my phone, I removed the Pasmo card from my wallet, then went through the transfer process again. I got the exact same messages this time, but for some reason this time it showed the account total and seems to have successfully worked.

I did a restart, several times of my phone. No help. The forced reset process didn’t seem to work because it isn’t as though my phone is unresponsive. That procedure appears to be designed for a frozen phone.


Any other thoughts?


I can’t delete the Pasmo card and try again, because the instruction make it very clear that the physical card will no longer work. I am very frustrated with Apple on this. The instructions say nothing of this dilemma, and there should be warnings everywhere!
