apple watch always on not working
The always on display is not showing the complication data only the time. All the settings are turned on I can’t seem to figure out why it is doing this.

I’ve had that happen to me a couple times, also. In each case, I had somehow managed to accidentally turn on theater mode. To check if this is happening to you, swipe up from the watch face and see if theater mode is on. If it is, tap to turn it off. You can read more about it in the link below. I hope this helps.
