Hi! I use Lightroom for editing my photos. It keeps telling me that my disk space is low. Please help! I have deleted a lot of photos already and I am still getting this message.

For your system to operate properly, you need 15-20% completely unused at all times.
It's not how many files you clear out that matters, it's the combined size that matters. If your disk is full to the point you can't operate properly, you need to move a substantial amount of user data (remember the 15-20%) off the main drive and onto external storage. That would be an external hard drive or a cloud based storage site. And that's in addition to the 15-20% you need to have open.
The largest files will be audio visual types which can also include photos.
If you bough the entry level smallest internal drive, your decisions will need to be rather severe.
when I checked my storage space it is mainly taken up from downloads. So I went through and deleted the ones I didn’t need anymore. Also deleted my catalogs in Lightroom and I also emptied the trash. When I go back into Lightroom to edit it tells me that I need 20mb to continue. And proceeds to tell me my disk space is low.
