My Airpods do not disconnect from my iPhone when they are put back into the case. Audio will play out of the phones speakers, as if it knows that the Airpods are not being used, yet they are still connected to the phone and their battery drains in no time, including the case.
Yes, I have already cleaned them, and completely reset them.
