Shared albums on Macbook Pro show 0 photos.

All of my shared albums on my Macbook Pro photos say they have 0 photos in them. I know there are photos in them. I've tried toggling Shared Albums off and then back on, but that only made the albums disappear altogether until I toggled and restarted my Mac again.

After you toggle a shared album off and on again, it may take several days until the shared photos will reappear. Just wait and see.

Only the photos that are still saved in iCloud will reappear, so do not disable Shared albums, if there are albums not shared by you. For albums not shared by you, you should download and save all photos you want to keep, as the may no longer be in iCloud and cannot be restored when you enable the shared albums again.
