Is there any way a screensaver can change the picture on its own without the person actually changing it?

My boyfriend had my picture as his screen saver and the other day another woman’s picture was on his screensaver instead of mine. He said he didn’t know how that happened but I think he’s lying. Is there any way a screen saver can change the picture on its own without the person actually changing it?

Hey there Pinktiger67,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We'll be happy to help. The picture that shows on as the background on the iPhone, or the Wallpaper, can be set to randomly change to different photos. So, it could change itself it that is enabled. Check out the following guide: Change the wallpaper on your iPhone. We hope that answers your question sufficiently.

Take care.
