iBooks Purchase can’t adjust text size

Hi - purchased a book on iBooks but the text is so small I can’t read it. I can’t change to size using Aa option in top corner and there’s no little square box down the bottom either. I am not impressed - the book cost $17 dollars. Using 2 fingers to make screen bigger so I can read it is frustrating and ridiculous. I

Unable to adjust the appearance on a purchased book I recented purchased the new Barbara Kingsolver book, "Demon Copperhead". When my wife started to read it the font is too small and in a style that is hard to read. It can only be displayed as black on white. When we click on the Adjust Appearance icon the only choice that is offered is brightness. There is no selection of fonts or background tone, we can't adjust the size of the print. Since it is a bestseller I expected it to be a full-featured epub. Is there some way to unlock these adjustments? This flaw appears in both Books for iOS and on the Mac.

Books, no 2 column view Hi, I just wanted to ask if there is a way to reenable the 2 column view in ibooks. I’ve gotten quite used to it, and my reading speed felt a lot faster, and more relaxed, because my eyes didn’t have to dart left to right and I could just move slowly downward with my gaze centered in the middle of a column being able to see the whole line out of my peripheral vision. Sorry if I’ve expressed myself in inelegant english, its only my second language. Before the latest update there used to be 2 narrow text columns (like marked in red), now the text fills the whole page. I searched the settings but couldn’t find anything. Thanks in advance.

ibooks Author to Pages import I have imported an iba. book into pages, but can't edit the text. When I try to select a word or sentence to edit, a whole section becomes orange and I am unable to select a word, sentence etc. It's as if it is locked, and I can't find how to unlock it.

I'm having the same problem. Purchased last week - Lee Child, "No Plan B". Text size not an option in menu (see screenshot).

Tried the above with no success....

I have hundreds of books and this is the first I've had a problem with!

Force close the app and force restart iPhone: Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (AU)

If that doesn't help, offload the app and download it again.

For a while now to make changes to text size etc you need to tap in the middle of the page to bring up the rounded-corner box on the bottom right.
