Download not in iPhone download folder

A recent download isn’t in my downloads folder. Where is it?

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

First, go to files app.


Second, click on (iCloud Drive) or (On My iPhone).


Third, click on the three dots on the upper right and of the screen.


Fourth, click on (New Folder).


Fifth, name the folder (Downloads)


Finally, the folder should show the download icon and it's ready!

Did you “Just” Download?:

just” is not referring to the “only” thing you’ve done, but rather a timeframe of having done something as in “just a few moments ago”. Not sure how long the keyword “just” is.
