FaceTime screen sharing with windows computers

I am trying to share my Mac screen on a FaceTime call with someone who is using a windows computer.

when were both on the call I have started screen sharing, its says to them that the screen share has started but they cannot see the screen.

Any help?

Can't share screen on a facetime I am not able to share my screen on FaceTime on my Mac. This started happening a few months ago, and now I am very annoyed with the problem. It starts when I first share my screen on a call, and after the call ends, the screen icon is still there, and "Stop sharing" does nothing. After restarting the mac the problem fixs but only once and after that it's the same. Also, this stops me from receiving any calls. I don't get the call notification, and after the call ends, I just see it in the missed calls. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

Screen Sharing through Messages broken in Sequoia and Tahoe to other computers with Sequoia and/or Tahoe I have been using screen sharing through messages to offer computer support to family, friends, and colleagues for many years. Since Sequoia, it has not worked with other computers running Sequoia or Tahoe. I upgraded to Tahoe recently to see if it would work and it appears to me, based on some experiments with friends, that screen sharing through messages does not work from any Mac running Sequoia or Tahoe to any other Mac also running Sequoia or Tahoe... I have successfully screen shared with any Mac running Sonoma or earlier from my MBP running Sequoia and now Tahoe. I have connected with people running Catalina, Big Sur, Monterrey, Ventura, and Sonoma. For folks with Sequoia and Tahoe, it does not work. I have changed the settings every which way possible, turned off all security-ish features with restarts after each change... and the person on the other end making those same changes. I have found some discussion on Mac rumors, reddit, etc. No solutions. It just does not work anymore for Sequoia and later to computers with Sequoia and later... it seems now to be stuck in FaceTime Audio... The screen sharing button is also now only in FaceTime but it never works. That seems to be the big difference, In Sonoma and earlier the "ask to share screen" or "share my screen" is easily accessible in messages under the "I" info button on the upper right of the messages window. (of course apple will not let you type a lowercase letter "eye" here) Sometimes it does show up now under the FaceTime icon in messages but just activates FaceTime Audio when you click on "ask to share screen" or "share my screen" and the person on the other end can only answer the FaceTime audio... Then you seen the Screen Sharing button in the FaceTime Audio window and it never works... Also, some solutions that I found where you try to connect directly through the Screen Sharing App also does not work with Sequoia or later to Sequoia or later... Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions out there? Sorry for the repetitive ramble...
