I cannot find the recycle bin on my ipad

Unlike Microsoft Windows and some other computers, you will not find a single Recycle Bin on your Home Screens. Instead, individual Apps will have their own Recently Deleted folder - that can be accessed from within the related App.


Items on a Home Screen, that are deleted, are simply deleted from the iPad.


If you are unfamiliar with iPad and iPadOS, the iPad User Guide is a rich source of frequently overlooked information about your iPad and iPadOS. The Guide is available both online using a web browser (such as Safari), or as an Apple Books download:
