With an external monitor connected via USB C, a bluetooth apple keyboard and a magic mouse connected, when I close my MacBook pro lid, the external monitor does not turn back on. How do I fix this?

Hello! Thank you for the insight. I tried connecting my Macbook's power supply...and still the same result.
Also, when I go to the Lock Screen within System preferences, I do not see an option that relates to the display. I am running Monterey.
Any other options?

Same problem here... MBP 14" M2 Max. Everything was fine until Ventura 13.4.1. No change in 13.5.
Apple - please fix this!

Hi,
Following method could help your issue.
If it doesn't help, try to following method.
If you want app to work, you have to change app defaults: App Menu -> When Clamshell is Closed -> Sleep
To uninstall app, use standard methods: Uninstall apps on your Mac - Apple Support
@duskhorizon Clamshell app doesn't work and seems to not be removable. How do you kill its process and remove it?
