Headphones auto mute.

All my headphones auto mute in any call in any browser or App (Zoom, Whatsapp, etc.) Is there still no bug fix?

Hi gerryks,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

We need help understanding the type of support that you're seeking.

When you have a free moment, please provide us with more information regarding the exact issue you're experiencing and what you'd like to accomplish, and we'll do our best to help you find a solution. For example, you mentioned that your headphones auto mute during calls. Is that correct? If so, can you tell us if you're using wired headphone or wireless headphones? If they are wireless, can you tell us if they are AirPods, Beats, or a third-party brand?

In the meantime, check out the link below if you’re having trouble using a Bluetooth enabled headset.

If a Bluetooth headset doesn’t work with Mac - Apple Support

* Make sure the headset is turned on and in range.

* Make sure the headset is connected with your Mac. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Bluetooth  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Check to see if your headset is in the list of devices on the right.

If your headset isn’t in the list, try connecting with it again. See the documentation that came with your headset for information about connecting your headset with your Mac.

* Make sure the headset is charged or has fresh batteries.

* Make sure the headset is selected as the input or output device in Sound settings. See Change Sound settings on Mac.

If the resource above has nothing to do with the type of support you're seeking, provide us specifics on what you are seeing and experiencing on your end for more help, and we'll continue from there.

Cheers!
