Are you using Sys Prefs>Network
Are you using Sys Prefs>Network
I'm not sure what that means.
There is a list of Known networks you can rearrange or remove items. Is that what you mean?
It is in the Wi-Fi System Settings, Advanced.
I tried the wi-fi settings and cannot remove the item i want to get rid of.
What else can i do?
Are you using "Forget this network" or some other means of removal?
If the network exists, it's going to show up in the list of available networks. You can not edit it out of existence. You would need to shut down the router providing that network.
