Can I download all my photos and videos onto a memory stick? And delete the ones one my phone afterwards to free up space on my iPhone?

Can I download all my photos and videos onto a memory stick straight off my iPhone? And would I be able to delete them from my iPhone to free up space?

Hi Kittyjopotty,

Yes, you can transfer your photos and videos from your iPhone SE to your Mac or PC. If unsure how to do that, check out this article for guidance on how to do so: Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or PC It has steps for both Mac and PC devices.

After the transfer completes, you can choose where to store your photos and videos (either on the computer itself or onto external storage).

If you use iCloud Photos, you can also try optimizing storage to clear space. The steps below show how to do so:

  1. "Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos.
  2. Tap Sync this iPhone. In iOS 15 or earlier, tap to turn on iCloud Photos.
  3. Select Optimize iPhone Storage to save space on your device.

When Optimize Storage is turned on, full-resolution photos and videos are stored in iCloud, and, when needed, space-saving copies are stored on your device. And as long as you have enough space in iCloud, you can store as many photos and videos as you want."

Those steps, and more information, are from this article: Manage your photo and video storage

Take care.
