Roku and Apple TV buffering workaround

Not a question, but a kind of answer for everyone dealing with Apple TV glitching on ROKU (and maybe other streaming devices).

After trying all the recommended fixes with no luck, I decided to screen cast from my iPhone. Works perfectly.

Buffering Apple tv Anyone else experiencing buffering in their Apple TV app on Roku? I’ve checked Internet speed, restarted, checked, software, download and updated anything, and everything I can think of. Also certain programs, if buffering, or quit completely go back to the beginning instead of resuming where it left off. Thank you in advance for any assistance or ideas.

Apple TV on Roku shows infinite spinner I am trying to use the Apple TV app on my Roku TV, but upon clicking the ‘Sign In’ option, I get an infinite spinner loading screen. Alternatively I tried going through the Apple TV+ app’s button on my remote which allows me to browse content without signing in, but if I click on any show, I get the same buffering screen. As a last resort, I tried mirroring content from my iPhone to my Roku TV. I get a consistent error on my iPhone via pop-up stating that this type of content can’t be mirrored. I read in another thread that maybe switching from HD -> SD could help, but I saw no such option. I tried this with different Apple TV shows, but none seem to work.

Spectrum TV app is blurry when streamed through Apple TV I tried to research this question and found it seemed to be a common problem but cannot tell if there was ever a fix for it. Has anyone found a fix to this problem other than using Roku? Who is the author of the app, Spectrum? If so, can’t someone from Apple help them fix their app so users can use Apple TV to properly stream their content? I would think this would be preferred over having Apple TV customers switch to Roku.
