All Region NTSC DVD is not playing on Apple USB SuperDrive. It only shows the Titles and nothing else.

Can the Apple USB SuperDrive play an All Region NTSC DVD? I am having issues. It is showing up as connected. The other DVDs are playing alright. Everything I am reading says it should play on all players but it has to be NTSC compatible. I have tried QuickTime and that thing is a joke. It was there and then poof. I am a bit flummoxed. It is a new DVD. No damage. I am thinking there are limits to this SuperDrive though. Please, advise.
