Apple Watch Series 5 issue
My Apple Watch Series 5 is stuck on water lock. When I attempt to unlock it says “press and hold crown to turn off water lock” when I hold the crown it goes back to the Home Screen and remains locked

If you are still on OS8 or earlier you need to turn the crown.
Otherwise hold in crown and side button until Apple logo appears then release buttons.
