Return a UK Apple 60W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter from the US?

I was recently in Scotland and had to purchase an Apple 60W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter from a local Apple store so I could charge my MacBook using a wall port in my Airbnb. I only used it 4 times and planned to return it to the local Edinburgh store before I came home to CA, but ran out of time. Can I return it via mail to the Edinburgh store or Apple headquarters and get a refund?
