I’m in a rental car, my own car is fine…
So, I’m playing music from my iPhone Music app playlists, fine.
Navigation voice announcements are set to alerts only. When I get an alert - like a traffic light camera ahead - it is so quiet compared to the music, which dips, that I really struggle to hear them.
Is there a way of increasing the voice alert volume, relative to the music, so both are clear?

Hmmm, something for Apple to look at there, when both sounds are on the same CarPlay app via the same iPhone.
Not very clever at all, I would have thought some clever Apple person might have noticed how un-user friendly that is and done something about it.
But that was the answer I expected, I’ll (probably!) waste my time on providing feedback.

Hi, I tried that - and it works, with the system somehow maintaining the added volume for future notifications.
(I maybe misunderstood your original reply, thinking the volume had to be turned up per notification, which would have been a faff.)
