update 9th gen

should i update my ipados from 15.6.1 to 16.5.1? my battery right now is i think great and i dont know if i wanna take a risk in ruining that lol thanks to anyone who answers me

You should always update your Apple gear to the latest operating system version it can use. Doing so provides the last security updates, defect repairs, and feature enhancements.
