I forgot my Apple ID password my laptops broken and I’m working on getting a new one and when I go to my Apple ID in settings and click password and security as-well as change password I put in my phone passcode but it simply won’t work

Try changing your password on iCloud.com
If you don’t remember your password, choose the forgot password option and follow the instructions.
