When ever i try to login to my imac i doesn’t work and when i press enter on my keyboard it brings up a screen that says name and password but whenever i try to type it. types it out in a weird font i’ve tried to factory reset but i have a regular keyboard not an apple one.

Do you have access to another keyboard? If so, does this same thing happen with that keyboard as well?
Are you able to follow the steps in here to reset the password? If you forgot your Mac login password
Testing those things will help narrow down your options.
