Hello Thospkelly,

Do Not Disturb will not turn on unless you have it scheduled to do so or have Smart Activation on.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap on Focus
  3. Tap on Do Not Disturb
  4. Scroll down to Schedule, tap on whatever schedule is there. If multiple, choose the one that you'd want to remove
  5. Tap Delete Schedule

This will delete the schedule that was being used to turn on and off Do Not Disturb at certain times of the day.

Smart Activation works by your iPhone learning from your habits. If you always go into a coffee shop to study and turn on Do Not Disturb and turn it off as you leave, Smart Activation will start to do this for you as it learned from your location, time, habits, etc.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap on Focus
  3. Tap on Do Not Disturb
  4. Scroll down to Schedule, tap on Smart Activation (it won't be there if it's not on)
  5. Toggle it off, or tap Delete Schedule

I hope this helps!
