Do not disturb- it’s disturbing me when it shouldn’t.

iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I use “do not disturb” daily. As a massage therapist, I depend on it working as I use the phones Bluetooth to play music to an external speaker. Until Now, it always worked without issue. Now, if a call comes in, the phone allows the music to pause. It didn’t do this previously. the only thing that has changed - I added a dual sim, and the phone just had an update. Any suggestions on what to do?

Dual Sim and iOS updates have not caused this.

  • Try a different Bluetooth speaker to see if it behaves the same way.
  • Forget and re-pair your speaker: Settings → Bluetooth → Tap "i" next to the device → Forget This Device, then reconnect.
  • If the issue started after an iOS update, the speaker manufacturer may need to release a firmware update to ensure full compatibility. You can check their website or support team for any updates or known issues with iOS.
