when I open an excel file with the .xlsm extension a window appears as below;
what steps should i do.....?
change settings in excel....?
or what...?

activeX that's a name I've not heard in a long time
microsoft dropped all support for it back in 2005
if it was me then I would open as read-only and then use save as to save it after removing anything activeX related
