i lost my iPhone 12 pro max few days ago and now i found it but in the mobile screen iPhone unavailable message show how to unlock passcode of iPhone with apple id and password?

Forgotten passcode Hey, i know that in website its said that there is no way to pass the passcode without deleting all the data inside it. but i really have very important stuff there. shouldn't apple have another way to verify the person who is the really owner of the phone because what I been told that this move apple made it as protection from thefts help please...

You don’t. Your only option is to erase and restore the phone.
