Unsubscribing
Today is the second time I got this as a response to junk email. I blocked it but why will it not allow me to unsubscribe?

It may be because the contact is already blocked. You could try removing this contact from the blocked list, unsubscribe to the mailing list, then block the contact to test it out. Here's what to do:
- Check the block list and remove the contact: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad
- Unsubscribe to the mailing list: Go to the Mail app > open the inbox > tap on the email > tap unsubscribe at the top.
- Then block the contact again: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad
In case that doesn't solve the issue, does this only occur with a specific mailing list or email? Are you running the latest version of iOS 15 (currently 15.7.7)? The more we can understand about the issue, the better we can assist.
