Usually unchecking "Following" and "Participation" as shown above is sufficient without stopping important messages from the moderation team.

Tap on your icon in the upper right, and then select View Profile. Email preferences are down the page a bit
I would suggest Profile﹥Preferences, rather than View Profile. 😉
