My mail accounts are all greyed out and won't let me access them on my iphone

If an app or feature on your device is not working, not appearing, or is restricted (grayed out), it may have been disabled using Screen Time, or by an IT administrator if you are using a device owned by an employer or educational institution.

Tap Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > scroll to Allow Changes.

- If the device is managed (Settings > General > VPN & Device Management), contact the IT department that is doing the managing.

This just happened to me with one of the last updates. Getting emails just fine Thursday, no emails Friday (10/27/23). I don't use restrictions and all email accounts are greyed out.

Checked Screen time and nothing weird there.

I had the same thing, couldn't update my passwords.

Go to Settings, Screen Time, Content and Privacy Restrictions, turn off Content and Privacy restrictions.

I could now access my accounts information.

Same problem, no solution

You need to go to settings > mail > accounts and then re-enter your mail account passwords.

If this is not available then go to settings > screen time > content & privacy restrictions > account changes and select allow before trying again.

I am trying to access "Allow changes" on my iphone and now it is asking for a 4 digit passcode.

I typed in my passcode for my phone and it was wrong and told me to try in five minutes.

How do i get this passcode?
