Worth upgrading my MacBook?

I am currently using the 2017 MacBook Pro as my daily computer at the moment but have found that it has slowed down. Would it be worth it to upgrade to a newer laptop model and what would you suggest?

I would first determine why it has slowed down. Have you installed any third party apps that may be causing the slowdown? Have you kept the computer current with respect to system updates? What are you running when it slows down?
