Why is it, I may not flip my camera shots and my phone image completely upside down??

Let’s forget about your children now.

I'm not sure what forget your children has to do with the subject of your question, but how are you trying to rotate a picture you've taken? You can save a photo upside down you've taken. You cannot take a photo upside down, however.

After you've taken a photo:

  • Open the photo on your iPhone
  • Tap Edit
  • Tap the box on the bottom on the right with the rotating arrows
  • Tap the second icon on the top left with the white box and a rotating arrow to rotate the photo all 4 ways. When you've gotten the photo rotated as you want, tap Done
