I have accidentally dropped a fizzy drink on my macbook pro .

After I had switched it off and put it in a tent position(little did I know) it appears and now there is a left bank watermark on the left side screen. Can it be removed or go away on its own?

I doubt seriously it will ever go completely away.

But that's not your main problem. "Fizzy" drinks are acidic by nature and if you spilled it on the keyboard it got inside the machine. Liquid is bad; acidic liquid is worse.

Take it to Apple and have it evaluated. Many times damage is delayed so just because it's operating fine now is not assurance it will in the future.

That appears to show the protective anti-glare coating eaten away, plus possible damage to the display itself.

You can live with it, understanding that it could get worse, or pay US$500-600 to have Apple replace the display assembly. Retina Macbook Pros use a sealed display assembly; damage to any part of it requires that the entire assembly be replaced. There is no cheaper workaround.
