After latest iOS 16.5.1 and macOS Ventura 13.4.1 update having trouble using iMessage and Facetime on mac

For the last couple of days, I have noticed post the recent update, iMessage and Facetime are not logging in or logging out automatically if does connect, despite the fact that all devices are on the same network with no connectivity issues. Followed a support thread, which instructed me to turn off iMessage and Facetime and reboot the phone, and turn on iMessage and Facetime to solve the issue, but it does not seem to work. Is anyone else facing a similar issue? Appreciate the support here.

When trying to log back in after few mins of waiting the end result is shown below on iMessage. As for Facetime its continues with no response.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.4

Issue solved folks! The whole turning off iMessage and Facetime and rebooting iPhone and iPad worked. The trick was I had to do the same on both iPhone and iPad, followed by not only rebooting those devices but also the Mac. So far no issues, if anyone else is facing the same. Check out the above option.
