A Credit Card that is not in your possession cannot be used to make payments - which, for online transactions, requires the printed CVV code from the back of the card.

If you have lost or mislaid a Credit Card that belongs to you, you need to contact your Card Issuer to have the card cancelled or replaced.

If the Card is no longer valid - or has already been cancelled - its details should be destroyed to avoid potential fraud. Where registered for online services, the card details should be deleted from wherever they are registered.

For Apple, Credit Card details used for payments can be stored in potentially three places…

1) For online payments when using the Safari Browser, credit card information is found in the Safari AutoFill settings:

Settings > Safari > AutoFill > Saved Credit Cards

Existing Credit Card entries can be removed by tapping the corresponding entry. Next tap Edit at top-right - and then Delete Credit Card.

2) Payment Card information that is associated with an AppleID account - used to purchase Apps, Subscriptions, Media and services via Apple - are managed from AppleID settings. See:

3) Your Wallet - where you can store Credit Cards registered for ApplePay:
